There little moments, small pockets of time when the Game would shut down. Perhaps someone looking in had stopped for the moment, stopped playing the Game and it was in these moments of respite that Sayori found herself able to slink away, into this strange place. A cold, dark place, filled with eerie voices and cold damp air, train track running along the floor and unimaginable creatures making their home there.
It was a world far removed from the Ren’Py code and pastel colours of the Literature Club, a place with solids, liquids, gases, colours, sensations-- It was strange that a place so foreboding could be anything comfortable to a girl like her, but being told how sensations work and actually experiencing sensations were two very different kettle of fish. This respite was somethign she treasured, even if she was sad that she couldn’t share it with the rest of the Literature Club.
The other reason she was always here when the opportunity presented itself; The Game would make sure that the Literature Club ran smoothly, even if the characters ceased to exist and even as the President, she could only do so much. So she wandered this dark world of sensations, looking for a glimmer of hope, something that would answer this spark of rebellion she tried desperately to maintain--
The sound of gunshots, yet more sensations that she had yet to experience and a new sight; a young man, unlike the creatures that roamed the tunnels, dressed in flashy black clothes, wearing a mask. This...was a human being??? Someone like the Player?
“Hey~~~” she chirped, forgetting herself in her excitement. “Are you a person?~”
